Michael Hooten

Michael has worked in nature-based, therapeutic settings in a variety of leadership positions from direct client care to program management. He completed his Master's of Social Work from the University of Denver. Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado, a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through iPEC, credentialed by the International Coaching Federation.

Michael is trained in EMDR Therapy by the EMDR Institute and specializes in the intersection of neurobiology (mind) and physiology (body). He holds a certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work (Institute for Human-Animal Connection), a certificate in Leadership Studies (Florida State University), a certificate in Global Pathways (FSU), and an Advanced English Teaching certificate (FSU).
